Nehos runs two proprietary datacenters in the industrial area of Padua. The two sites are linked by a dedicated fibre-optic ring that interconnects them and connects them directly to the VSIX (Venetian Internet Exchange). The Padua 1 datacenter was created from the redevelopment of an industrial building with photovoltaic panels and low-environmental-impact technologies. The partnership with G Tech Group guarantees you a single point of contact for infrastructure and management.

What is server housing?

Server housing (or colocation) lets you entrust the operational side of your servers — power, cooling, physical security and monitoring — to a specialised facility with 24/7 staff. You keep ownership and full control of the hardware, without having to manage everything in the office anymore. Performance is comparable to what you would have on site, plus the reliability of a professional infrastructure.

Can I bring the servers I already have?

Yes. You physically bring your server to the datacenter and installation is assisted by our technical staff, who help you with rack mounting and network configuration. Access to the data hall is always accompanied.

I don't have a server: can you handle it?

Of course. We analyse your needs, choose the most suitable hardware, assemble it, test it and install it in the datacenter. We deliver everything ready and working.

Where are the datacenters located?

In the industrial area of Padua. There are two sites (Padua 1 and Padua 2), interconnected via dedicated fibre and connected to the VSIX, the Internet Exchange of Veneto. Both are ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified.

What connectivity is available?

The datacenters are connected to 6 international Internet Exchanges and several carriers. Bandwidth for your server is tailored: contact us and we'll define the most suitable connectivity profile together.

Is server management included?

It's an optional service. You can choose housing only or add full management: 24/7 monitoring, backup, security updates and maintenance by our team.

How does datacenter access work?

Entry is controlled with badge and biometrics. You can schedule visits for work or inspections, always accompanied by staff. In an emergency, the 24/7 on-site team can intervene on your behalf.
