High-Availability Multisite VPS

Business infrastructure with HA KVM hosts and hyperconverged Ceph SSD storage. For companies that cannot afford unexpected downtime.

VPS Business HAICM

When downtime has a cost

A professional VPS designed for operational continuity, infrastructure resilience and business-critical projects.

There are projects where a service interruption is not simply a technical inconvenience, but an operational problem with concrete consequences: staff blocked, customers unable to access, orders not processed, data not updated. For these scenarios, a standard budget VPS is not enough. You need an infrastructure designed to minimise the probability and duration of downtime.

The Business Multisite HAICM VPS is our solution for companies and professionals who want a more robust infrastructure base than an entry-level VPS. The technical name describes exactly what it offers: KVM hosts configured for high availability, combined with hyperconverged multisite storage based on Ceph technology with SSD disks. This is not marketing: it's an architecture in which both computing capacity and storage space are distributed across multiple physical nodes, so that the failure of a single component does not cause a service interruption.

This page presents the service in detail, the resources included, the real costs, the expansion options and the additional services available. Every price is shown excluding VAT, every item is documented. The goal is to let you make an informed assessment of whether this solution is the right one for your project.

Why Choose It

The value is not just in the amount of resources

CPU and RAM are important, but they are not the only thing that matters when your business depends on the server.

When choosing a VPS server for a business, it's natural to compare offers based on the number of cores, gigabytes of RAM and disk space. These are important metrics, but they don't tell the whole story. Two VPS with the same specifications on paper can have radically different reliability levels, depending on how the underlying infrastructure is built.

A standard VPS, even a good-quality one, typically runs on a single physical host with local disks. If that server has a hardware problem, your service stops until the fault is resolved or the data is restored from a backup. For a personal website, this may be acceptable. For a business management application used by dozens of people every day, or for a CRM that handles the company's commercial relationships, the calculation changes completely.

The high-availability Multisite VPS tackles this problem at its root. Instead of depending on a single point of failure, both for computing and for storage, it distributes resources across multiple nodes. This does not mean the service is immune to any problem, but it means the probability of an interruption is significantly lower and that, in case of a component failure, the system is designed to keep working with no immediate manual intervention.

The value of this solution is not measured in technical specifications alone. It's measured in the time your team doesn't lose, in the customers who continue to be served and in the peace of mind of knowing that your infrastructure is built to withstand unforeseen events that, over time, are statistically inevitable.

Architecture

HA KVM Hosts and Hyperconverged Storage

What they mean in practical terms for your service.

The term HA KVM Hosts describes the architecture of the computing layer. KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is the virtualisation technology used to create your virtual machine. The abbreviation HA (High Availability) indicates that the physical hosts on which the VMs run are configured in a cluster: if one of them fails or needs maintenance, the virtual machine is automatically moved to another available node. In practice, your virtual server is not tied to a single physical machine but can move between multiple hosts transparently.

The Hyperconverged Multisite Storage is the layer that manages the data. Instead of using physical disks connected to a single server, this architecture employs a Ceph cluster with SSD disks distributed across multiple nodes. Ceph is a distributed storage platform that automatically replicates data across multiple nodes: this means that even if an SSD disk or an entire storage node were to fail, the data remains accessible because up-to-date copies exist on other nodes in the cluster.

The combination of these two technologies offers a double layer of protection: computing is redundant (the VM can migrate between hosts) and storage is redundant (data is replicated across multiple nodes). It's not an absolute guarantee against any type of problem, but an architecture designed to handle the most common hardware failures without interrupting the service and without losing data.

For those coming from experiences with budget VPS or shared hosting, this represents an important qualitative leap in infrastructure protection. For those managing business applications, management software, CRM or ERP, it's the difference between an interruption lasting hours (with manual restore from backup) and a disruption that resolves automatically, often without the end user even noticing.

Features

What the VPS Multisite HA includes

The technical specifications of the VPS Business Multisite HAICM service.

High-Availability KVM Hosts

The virtual machine is hosted on a cluster of KVM hosts configured for high availability. In case of hardware failure on a node, the VM is automatically migrated to an operational node in the cluster, significantly reducing the risk of prolonged downtime.

Hyperconverged Multisite Ceph SSD Storage

Data does not reside on a single physical disk but is distributed across a Ceph storage cluster with SSD disks, replicated across multiple nodes. This ensures that a failure of a single disk or an entire storage node does not result in data loss.

PLATINUM FLAT 100 Mbps Bandwidth

Symmetric connectivity at 100 Mbps with 10% guaranteed bandwidth, with no traffic limits. Stable and predictable network performance, suitable for services that require constant upload and download.

Dedicated CPU and RAM Resources

The starting resources include 1 core of at least 512 MHz and 1 GB of fully reserved RAM. The configuration is expandable with modular upgrades, adapting to the project's growth.

Static Dedicated IP

Every VPS includes a static dedicated IP address, essential for DNS configurations, SSL certificates, remote access and all services that require a fixed, identifiable access point.

Multi-OS

Compatibility with Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu, Microsoft Windows Server and similar operating systems. Full freedom in choosing the operating environment best suited to your software.

Use Cases

Who this solution is for

For companies and professionals where downtime has a concrete operational cost.

This VPS is designed for those who use the server not as a simple container for a website, but as an operational infrastructure on which business applications run. If your team works on management software every day, if your customers access a portal, if your CRM is the centre of the company's commercial activities, then the quality of the underlying infrastructure is not a technical detail: it's a factor that directly affects productivity and business continuity.

Management Software and ERP

Management software, business ERP and accounting platforms that must stay operational during working hours. An unexpected outage means blocked staff and interrupted processes.

CRM and Web Applications

Structured CRM, customer portals and business web applications where continuous access is an operational condition, not an optional.

Business-Critical Platforms

Internal services, intranets and business collaboration platforms that form the digital backbone of the organisation.

Professional Environments

Professional firms, vertical software and industry applications where system availability is directly linked to daily productivity.

Services with Sensitive Data

Environments that handle confidential business data and require an infrastructure with above-average resilience levels.

Multi-Service Environments

Servers hosting multiple services or applications on the same environment, where the stability of the underlying infrastructure is the prerequisite for everything else.

Resilience

Operational continuity and data protection

The real value of a redundant infrastructure emerges when something goes wrong.

Operational continuity is not an abstract concept: it's the ability of an infrastructure to keep working even when a component fails. With a standard VPS, a hardware failure means an interruption that can last from minutes to hours, depending on the severity of the problem and the speed of intervention. With the VPS Multisite HA, the architecture is designed to handle the most common failures automatically, without human intervention and without interruption perceptible to the end user.

Data protection is the second pillar. The hyperconverged Ceph storage does not simply save data on a disk: it replicates it across multiple SSD nodes so that no single point of failure can cause the loss of information. This does not replace the need for a backup (which is always recommended as an additional layer of protection), but it offers a structural guarantee against hardware failures that on traditional storage could have serious consequences.

For a company that relies on its server every working day, these are not optional features: they are the difference between an infrastructure that supports the business and an infrastructure that represents a latent risk.

Backup

Additional protection for your data

Backup is not included in the base fee. It's an optional service available in three modes.

The hyperconverged Ceph storage protects data against hardware failures, but it does not replace a backup. A backup is a separate copy of the data, useful in case of human error, accidental deletion, a ransomware attack or the need to restore to a previous state. For this reason we always recommend activating at least one of the available backup options.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The answers to the most common questions about the VPS Multisite HA.

What do "Multisite" and "HAICM" mean?

Multisite indicates that the storage is distributed across multiple physical nodes via Ceph technology, rather than residing on a single disk. HAICM stands for High Availability Hyperconverged Multisite: the infrastructure combines high-availability KVM hosts with distributed hyperconverged storage, offering a significantly higher level of resilience than a traditional VPS.

How does it differ from a standard VPS?

A standard VPS typically uses a single physical host and local storage: if that disk or that server has a problem, the service stops until it's restored. With the VPS Multisite HA, both computing (HA KVM hosts) and storage (multisite Ceph SSD) are redundant across multiple nodes. This does not eliminate every possible disruption, but it concretely reduces the probability and duration of downtime.

Is the service fully managed?

Yes. The VPS Multisite HA includes full VPS management and base parameter monitoring (CPU, RAM, disk, network and web services). Third-party software licenses and specific application installations are not included in the base fee but can be requested as additional services.

Is backup included?

Backup is not included in the base fee. It's available as an optional service in different modes: same-datacenter backup, dual-datacenter backup for geographic protection, and immutable backup for protection against ransomware and accidental deletions. Each option has specific activation costs and monthly fees.

Can I expand the resources after activation?

Yes. CPU, RAM and storage can be increased at any time through modular upgrades. The upgrade costs are transparent and published on this page. You don't need to migrate to another server to get more resources.

What is the difference between reserved and non-reserved RAM?

Reserved (or guaranteed) RAM is memory allocated exclusively to your VPS at all times. Non-reserved RAM is additional memory available when the node has free resources, but not contractually guaranteed. For business-critical applications it's advisable to invest in reserved RAM.
